For many Malaysians, Terengganu is a state that has been blessed with numerous natural resources and wonders. From a state that was viewed as backward and beset with poverty now Terengganu has developed to become one of the progressive state in Malaysia.
The discovery of the 'black gold' off its shores has pumped millions of Ringgit into the state coffers and the state government has utilised the resources to ensure the people of the state will benefit from them.
However, nowadays petroleum is not the only resources that bring in the dough for Terengganu. With the longest stretch of beach in the Peninsular Malaysia and the largest man-made lake in South East Asia it offers a number of attractions for locals and foreign tourist to make the state a destination for their holidays.
